Volunteering
One of the goals of The Salvation Army's Pro Bono program is to provide a broad range of volunteer opportunities for Lawyers and Law Firms that are dedicated to addressing the unmet legal needs of low-income and disadvantaged individuals. Our organization takes into account lawyers' areas of expertise and their busy schedules. Our aim is to make your volunteer time with us as easy as possible, and to maximize your time with our clients.
As a volunteer lawyer with The Salvation Army's Pro Bono program, you are eligible to access extended pro bono insurance coverage. We encourage you to contact the Lawyer's Insurance Fund for more details.
The Salvation Army Pro Bono program is able to connect you with one of our Legal Clinics in your community.
For detailed information on our current pro bono legal clinic locations in British Columbia, please visit our locations page.
