Thank you for visiting the site
We will use this space to profile one of our volunteer lawyers and the work they are doing in their community.

We thank all of our volunteers for their hard work and dedication to serving those most in need.
Funding information

This website was made possible by a generous grant from the Law Foundation of British Columbia.

The Salvation Army Pro Bono Legal Services program is funded by a number of sponsors, but we can always use your help. If you wish to make a tax-deductible charitable donation, please click here.

Procedures

We are eager to ensure you have a positive experience when you volunteer with The Salvation Army Pro Bono program.

Our program has received distinction as an approved "Pro Bono Service Provider" by the Law Society of BC. This distinction is conditional upon our program meeting certain requirements. One of the requirements is to keep minimal records of the names and law society member numbers of our volunteer lawyers. In addition, we must keep records of the names of clients, and the date(s) they meet with volunteer lawyers.

Accordingly, we have instituted a one-time setup process that will provide us with information about you. All information you provide during this process is kept in a secure format. We use some of the information to match you to cases within your area of expertise, and to ensure you can manage your volunteer time according to your schedule.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this process, please call John Pavey at 604-694-6648, or e-mail:
