IDENTITY STATEMENT
The Salvation Army is an international Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible; its ministry is motivated by love for God and the needs of humanity.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Salvation Army exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world.

MISSION STATEMENT OF THE SALVATION ARMY'S PRO BONO PROGRAM
The objective of the Pro Bono program is to bring together lawyers, and the poor in order to eliminate barriers to justice.

The program exists to support, co-ordinate, and encourage the delivery of Pro Bono services in communities of The Salvation Army's BC South Division through the existing offices of The Salvation Army. The target group of the program is those persons who are ineligible for legal aid, and meet the required income guidelines.
